Founded by Tajh Thompson, who brings over 10 years of hands-on experience in hospitality technology, Thompson Networking was built on the belief that great service starts with a strong connection—literally and figuratively.

The Larry Thompson Scholarship honors a leader in community who quietly transformed lives by refurbishing and gifting computers to kids in his neighborhood. Inspired by his generosity and belief that every child deserves access to technology, this scholarship supports high school students who demonstrate academic potential, community involvement, and a need for reliable computer access.

Each year, recipients are awarded a refurbished laptop or desktop computer to help them succeed in school and prepare for their future. The scholarship is open to students from all backgrounds, continuing Larry Thompson’s vision of empowerment, equality, and opportunity through technology.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a high school student (grades 9–12)
   
• Demonstrate financial need
   
• Show involvement in school, community, or volunteer work
   
• Submit a brief essay about how access to a computer will support your goals
